Solar coolant is a heat transfer fluid which transfer the heat from solar collector .Solar coolant is a low freeze point   fluid and most suitable for indirect solar heating system
Where freezing weather occurs more frequently and drain back system cannot install. The solar coolant fluid is circulating through a pump to the solar collector and back to the heat exchange coil. Here the heat is transfer to the potable water via the exchange coil. This solar coolant protects the collector and its piping from damage due to freezing temperature.
Solar coolant does not have a definite freeze point but will turn thick and viscous as the temperature drops and also not expand as water does, for this reason it protects the system from bursting.  
Solar coolant is completely non-toxic, non-staining, and, if used as directed, it will not harmful to the environment. It gives the Corrosion protection for all metals, including aluminum, steel, copper and brass.
Solar coolant is a high boiling point fluid so it also gives boil protection
 The product is circulating in close circuit and it contains anti scale compound so there is no formation of scale in the system and the heat transfer quantity will remain same   through-out the period. The product is manufactured based upon long life additives, so its change period time is also longer.
